The New SLR Stirling Moss - Production starts in June 09

Mercedes-Benz and McLaren round out the SLR family with the new SLR Stirling Moss. Productions is slated to start in June 2009, limited to 75 of these amazing cars. Yes it will put a 750 000 € dent in your wallet, and you don't get a roof or a windscreen, But you  do get an amazing body and a supercharged v8 putting down 650 hp.

The car is named for British motor racing legend and Mille Miglia record-holder Stirling Moss, who drove the SLR racers cars from victory to victory during the 1950s.

Two air scoops integrated into the bodywork serve as roll-over bars, zero to 100 km/h in less than 3.5 seconds and a top speed of 350 km/h.
